Antichello Valpolicella Ripasso DOC Superiore, 2020

Made from a blend of Corvina, Rondinella and Corvinone, this wine’s notable depth of flavour is achieved by a five-day refermentation on Antichello’s Amarone pomace as well as six to eight months maturation in oak. This medium-bodied, ruby-hued wine opens with a bouquet of violet, cherry, strawberry and plum. On the palate, flavours of strawberry, cherry and pomegranate are backed by a dash of oak spice and supported by moderate, well-integrated tannin. 2023-2026–LW
